Back from the island

So I just realised I don't have a label for my travels, so I created Travelogy starting with this entry. Hopefully I have more and more travel stories to share in the future. But my maiden trip to Berjaya Tioman Beach, Golf & Spa Resort wasn't about a holiday at all. It was work. I'm a fam trip virgin no more... Nothing on Berjaya Hills because I missed the trip up for the event on 'The King & I'. Was down with high fever. But at least you guys didn't have to go to the hospital to visit me. I was suspected of having dengue fever at first. But I'm alright now.

Good airport. It knows smoking is bad for health.

We flew to Tioman via Berjaya Air and it's suffice to say that the airplane is only able to fly short distances and thank god for that. I always seem to forget an item or two after I leave the house for a trip. It's a bad curse I have. So I was longing for a jacket when I came close to shivering at the Subang Airport. I don't know what happened between the cab driver and my mom but I was so near to getting sent to KLIA instead. Imagine the disaster that would've happened if I really did end up at the wrong airport.

Well, apart from the fact that my boss wanted me to start knowing the resorts and the people who work there, I was there for the Tioman Mega Dive. An event that could've gone to greater heights if the organizers were less disorganized. But let's not get to the bitching, shall we?

Room 501 - Standard Chalet. Newly refurbished somemore. I liked my room a lot. Even more so if it was right next to the beach. But I wasn't too far away though. The room was small and cosy, just nice for any lone traveller or a couple. It was just so comfy to sleep on that King-sized bed all on my own. Syiok!! The bathroom was nice, but any person in bigger size wouldn't have been able to fit into the bath tub. It's kinda small. And I wished the hot water stayed hot.

Sri Nelayan... This place is huge. And it's called a coffee house. More like an eating hall, I'd say. I was surprised with the amount of angmohs we had at the resort. Local travellers were a rare sight.

The Superior Chalets, for those who prefer bigger room space or simply want to choose to live on a higher level, for whatever reason...

Getting around on the shuttle. Bad ass modified vehicle. Plenty of those around on the island. No JPJ to saman the people here.

Not much of interesting bits for this trip. Mostly due to the fact that I only stayed one night. But it was a great experience to finally arrive at one of the places which I only got to know from the brochures and flyers we work on in the office everyday. And meeting my colleagues at the resort was fun. We had beer 'til one a.m. in the midnight, just blowing water and laughing at our personal jokes. Was just spending some fun time with some really cool people. Aah... Kill me if you want me to stay longer than a week here, though. Life is so mundane here. You do the same boring stuff over and over within the same small space. I don't know how the guests stay more than a week on one stretch when they come. I can't handle that. Unless it's Hawaii or something like that. Looking forward my next fam trips.

Zooming past six months

Officially, it's been seven months. But who cares if it came one week past its due date?

I was confirmed to my job yesterday.

But I'm in no condition to celebrate. Sick again. It's pretty bad this time around. The fever and flu is dizzying up this girl. Nearly fainted yesterday. Seriously, I'm not trying to be a drama queen. Thank god Mr. Bun was around. Feeling better now compared to the past two days when I was trapped in the chilling and agonizing air-conditioned office. Next week, I'm away for nearly the whole week. Up to the hills on Monday and flying off to the golden sandy beaches of Tioman Island. Back to the bustling sights and sounds of KL City on Friday. Absolutely no time with the boyfriend. But he was so sweet, he drop by this morning with two huge nuts for me. Two coconuts, that is. Maybe he'll drop by again later after watching Die Hard 4.0 with his boyfriends. Groan... I need more rest. Nothing is good on telly right now so I'm stuck with watching Concert for Diana. See you guys when I'm back from my free fam trip to Tioman. Try not to be jealous kay? 'Cause I'll be in Redang next month or so for another fam trip. Work, but still...

I Don't Want A Plastic Bag

One month ago when I found out about this bag, I was like, "Who cares about this stupid bag?"

Now I'm this stupid person making frantic phone calls on how I can get my hands on it. The Malaysian launch is this week and I'm eating my own shorts because I don't think I can get one from the Boleh nation.

So dear friends, if you have some love for the Pinkster, please get me one from the enchanted lands of abroad and I'll be glad to pay you back. I won't mind if it's a prezzie either ;)

Deb, your jetsetting lifestyle brings you to all over the world. Please keep an open eye for me and hopefully you'll have this bag stuffed in your briefcase for me when you come home end of this year.

Darshini, I know this damn thing is sold out in the U.K., but if in any case that you can have 'em shipped to your address or something, please do me this big ass favour. Pleaseeeeeeeeee...

Alex, they have it in Jakarta! Read my sms. Help me buy it!! I'll take good care of Joanna for you. I swear!

I hope Mr. Bun can work out a miracle and get me one this week. Threats of "Don't come see me if you don't get the bag" don't seem to work on the boyfriend. Not that I was serious anyway. But I really really want the bag :( Badly... I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want! I want!

Reason #5436 to hate Paris Hilton: I bet she can get a dozen of these for free without even trying to ask for it. Here I am bitching about how much I want it but can't on my blog. Blah!

Sam's Happy Time!

Four words: Fucking excellent. Must watch!

So good that you'll leave the cinema thinking that these robots really do exist. Mr. Michael Bay, can I call you Mike? Look Mike, you just nailed it. Killed it! The CGI's were more than perfect, the jokes were funny and you made bumblebee look like a little sad puppy when it got caught. It's just a robot for god's sake but I was actually afraid of it getting hurt. Really! Mike... You're just super cool, you know? But no thanks to making my boyfriend thinking that his car would actually transform into a robot. Anyway people, please go and watch it. You know I don't lie about these things. It was so good that the people in my cinema hall clapped their hands after the show ended. So drama la these fuckers...

Outside These Four Walls

How I long for the days when I had the liberty to say "Screw it" to any work I didn't feel like doing, and say "Fuck you" to anyone who gets into my face. A job is part of growing up, and definitely a part of my life. Please do not misunderstand that I hate my job. I love it to bits. I just miss having time to do the things I oh-so love. Like going for a movie (with student discount!) in the middle of the day with Danny and walk around Midvalley until both of us get bored. Or finish reading an entire book (for free) at Borders and MPH. Have an afternoon nap right after finishing a 2-hour lecture. Take a 2-hour lunch break and talk kok with my friends at UTAR mamak. Yumcha in the middle of the night for few nights in a row. Go for late night movies. Have makan outings with deb deb, Miss World, Jas and Dar.

I really miss the carefree days. I know, I know... I should shaddup and not complain. It's over and done with. But still miss lor :(

But I won't ask to go back in time. Because back then I'd still think it was impossible for me and Mr. Bun to be together. Lol!

My blog is as 'un-happening' as my life right now. Mostly dealing with repeated motions. It's about one and a half months until my trip to Hong Kong. I can't wait to break free of this cycle. It's good. But too long can drive me cuckoo. Actually it's still not that bad la. Since I know a little bit more about the travel industry now, I can plan for more holidays in the future. Surely got cheaper price ler... I don't know when my boyfriend is going to get his passport done. I'm itching to go to Vietnam and want him to go with me. But I haven't spoke about it yet. I've got Langkawi and Bangkok waiting in line. Vietnam should come next. And hopefully not too long later, it's backpacking across Europe. It's in my 'Things to do before I die' list, apart from a gazillion other things. One more thing coming up in September: Bukit Kepong. No, I'm not planning a communist rebellion. It's a significant part of my life which I'm (truthfully speaking) happy about. Let's talk about it when I get back from there, shall we? No point in counting chicks when the eggs aren't hatched. Hint: Think the Ben Stiller movie with Robert de Niro. Don't say I'm so bad never give clue ah.

I'm gonna be so bored this weekend. The boyfriend's gonna be away. I wanna watch Shrek 3 before he leaves. I think Paris Hilton's gonna be released from jail today or tomorrow right? Let the world rejoice for the freedom of the socialite!! As if the world is going to be saved from violence and global warming when she's released. I was watching E! the other day and the slut told Ryan Seacrest that she's gonna help make a difference in the lives of female prisoners. That she's gonna help develop a transitional home to help them get back on their feet after released from jail and not fall into vices again. Let's see... Let's all see.

Burglary... The Aftermath

How ironic it is to come home to this after watching 'Ocean's 13'. But the fuckers who broke into our home are a humiliation compared to the Ocean gang. I just found out we weren't the only victims. Mei Ping's house was broken into as well, on the same day as ours were. Looks like it was a planned attack on several houses in my area. I tell myself to forget about it. That it's already over. But what if the nightmare comes back? What if the nightmare gets worse the next time? It's so sickening to realize even my own home is not safe anymore. I was wrong about my room being untouched. They went through my parent's and my room. Took my piggy bank with less than RM20, all in 50 cents coins and my Olympus camera. My brother's Lumix was right beside it but they didn't bother taking it along. Other than that, they left my room in a mess and a painful memory for us to keep. I was so disgusted to find my clothes rummaged through. I felt like washing them all, after thinking how those fuckers' filthy hands had touched them. But I took a deep breath, sucked it up and slowly put my room back in order. They even thought I had money in my Pucca-bank but it was solely for display purposes. I realized 'cause Pucca was moved from its original position. Anyway, my heart is still aching and I still can't stop worrying. Can't stop thinking about so many what ifs...

I'm a different person as I was one day ago. My heart just died a little inside. Is there no more security left in humanity?

This Week

Monday
- Suffered from Monday Blues but went ahead with work anyway.
- Mr. Bun went back to his hometown so I'm left all alone in KL, with no one to play.

Tuesday
- Had my department's monthly meeting and suddenly got severe work stress after realising how heavy my workload really is. And how other fuck-ups play a role in adding to my stress by delaying their work and then my work also delay then I kena boss.
-Kena tiu from mom because of my bad temper + lack of manners. Ok lah... Will work hard to change.
- Mr. Bun called to tell that he's bringing home his mom's homemade glutinous rice dumplings for me to eat. Yipee!! And other stories about me which he told his mom (So funny the way his mom interviewed him in detail about his girlfriend. Kakaka)

Wednesday
- Boss not around so can finally work at my own pace. But not really, because fuck-ups like to ask me to do last minute work for them.
- Bought a new pair of Nike sneakers, pokai for the month, at the beginning of the month.
- Determined to go to Mr. Bun's place as many times as possible to work out. Getting fat and sluggish.
- Mr. Bun called to tell that his mom made dumplings without pork lard, especially for me!! Without her knowing the fact that I hate lard in the first place. Wow, this woman telepathic ah? Hmmm... Must be careful of not letting her detect my plans on cheating on her son :p
- Packed my stuff to bring while staying over at Mr. Bun's place.

Thursday
- Had an okay day at work.
- Mr. Bun dropped by after lunch to pass me dumplings before heading back to his place.
- Had a lovely time eating dumplings with my colleagues at 6pm.
- Came back out to finish up on work and saw 3 missed calls from mom, 3 missed calls and 1 sms from the boyfriend . Couldn't get through mom's line so waited before leaving the office earlier than usual.
- Mom told me that our home had been broken into by a burglar.
WHAT THE FUCKKKK?????
- Called Mr. Bun to tell him what happened and to wait for my call.
- Frantically tried to call second brother to check if my valuables are still around. Phew!! Untouched.
- Called mom to ask how things are and to tell I'll call back later.
- Left the office without Mr. Bun picking up my calls to tell him I'm leaving. Extremely bad mood because I didn't know how to react to the whole situation and he's not picking up the phone. Millions of random and unhappy thoughts swirling around in my head. No mood for gym.
- Monorail station fucking packed. Had to wait for the next train while standing next to a smelly immigrant. Couldn't be bothered because I was too caught up in my own thoughts. The boyfriend finally answered after a few dozen phone calls.
- Got picked up from the LRT station and kept silent for 99% of the time during whole ride home. Collapsed onto Mr. Bun's mattresses after putting down my bags and started to cry while holding on tightly to his arms. Confused tears couldn't stop flowing and Mr. Bun patiently consoled me while I wet his mattress (with tears, of course). Didn't dare to complain much to the boyfriend because my troubles were peanuts compared to what he has gone through before (Actually, nothing much la, I was just in a state of confusion. Scared and helluva mad at the same time).
- Called mom after stopped crying. Fucking burglar took away dad's bigass MILO tin looking thing with RM500++ worth of change inside. Broke in by cutting off the lock. Btw, mom was watching TV while telling me this. Niamah... Still got mood wor. Anyway, then I felt much better, especially after all the crying and thank goodness I was with the boyfriend. If not sure traumatic like hell at home and stress level would hit off the roof!
- Free massage ;)

Friday
- Work as usual.
- Body aching as usual.
- Missing Mr. Bun.
- Watching 'Ocean's 13' with Kuan Yee tonight.
- Booked tickets to watch 'Men in White' with Mr. Bun on Sunday.
- Hopefully things at home are okay.

Saturday
- Gonna sleep 'til damn late.
- Then wait for Mr. Bun to pick me up after he finishes work.
- If gym is still open, must go for a work-out.
- No money for a Saturday night drink but feel like having one.

Sunday
- GYM!!
- Go for movie with Mr. Bun.
- Go home.

Shoe Fetish

Aiyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoooooooo......

I think I have a problem with shoes. I seem to be buying a pair with every month's paycheque. Just when I thought I could stop this month, here I am filled to the brim with pangs of guilt. Feeling like I shouldn't have bought the Nike sneakers, which I just did, and am trying to feel less guilty by telling myself that I need them. Yeah, really NEED them. I tell myself, I'm going to Hong Kong in two month's time and at this moment, I can barely breath after climbing a fleet of stairs which is less than 30 steps. How to shop till I drop then? Haven't shop already drop lo...

Mission possible: To go to Mr. Bun's place every possible day and work out like mad in the gym. Probably throw in a lap or two in the swimming pool as well. Hmmm... Then can lose weight for Langkawi in November as well. Muahahahahahaha... Nobody's gonna say that I put on weight anymore in a few week's time. Watch this space.

Rapunzel

I'm feeling rather deperate right now for my hair to grow long overnight. No... I didn't pull off a Britney "Oops, I shaved my head" Spears. I just miss having long locks :(

UTAR...

From its humble beginnings as Universiti Tak Ada Ruang (nickname courtesy of Mr. Bun), UTAR has since evovled into this:

Feeling crappy, Feeling jazzy.

I guess that makes me Crazzy? Meaning crazy. Deb's right. I do sound depressed lately. I realised most of my depressing entries are posted during my working hours. Gosh... How can the job I love so much make me so depressed? It's not the job... It's some people, trust me. So how to reduce depression level to keep working progress ah? Listen to Michael Bublé la, of course! Since my crappy PC has no sound card, my mp3 player is being put to good use again. Talking about my mp3 player, now I realised 512MB is soooooooo not enough. I need want *cough cough* a new iPod *cough*

I'm never a jazz person, but Michael Bublé is just irresistable. I do feel much better when I listen to his songs while working. Very relaxing. Even more so if the vacuum cleaner stops making all that fucking noise. At one point, I was actually lip-synching and moving my head around. Two seconds later, I stopped because I suddenly remembered that I'm in the office. Not owned by my father somemore. Bublé's songs also remind me of my barista days. Back when I had that piece of green cloth over my torso, smell of coffee in my hair, surrounded by coffee beans+milk+coffee powder+frappucino premix+ice+Starbucks mugs+chocolate syrup+caramel+cheesecakes+sandwiches+panini breads+Bearistas+pastries, jazz songs ringing in my head, feeling rather lewd when I wipe milk off the steamer (it does look like baristas are wanking that thing, if you care to notice), being annoyed by customers who ask for 'cili sos'. Oh... If you ask, I'll be glad to share my most hillarious Starbucks barista story. I think no one can beat it by far. Ok la... Need to zoom back to BHR mode now. Enough of Starbucks flashback.

Lunch Break

Bored at work

Can I just say... Thank God I can blog from work today!! I'm not sure how and why, but I'm just bloodyhell glad that I can access my blogspot account from my miserable PC at the office. I'm still overjoyed even if there's no reason given. Today is such a crappy day. I'm hit by the weekend bug. Absofuckingly no mood to work, but of course I'll manage well despite my escalated procrastinatory feeling. If I don't, things are gonna get worse than being skinned alive by my boss. It's not the punishment that sucks, it's the guilt that I'll feel. In short, it's been a crappy week. I hated Monday, and although I have nothing against Friday, I can't wait for today to be over and done with. I'm gonna be charging up my batteries tomorrow before an extra long weekend with Mr. Bun ^_^ I love day offs. I love having 18 days of annual leave. But sure as hell I'm gonna die from the heavy workload after I get back from my leave next week -.-"

So to keep procrastinating my self from dying of utter boredom-ness and hatred for work, I've worked on a list of the yummy guys which I've always dreamt of shagging and were my pets.

Brian Littrell
I used to write "I [heart] B-Rok" on my palm all the time during secondary school because Brian's nickname was 'B-Rok'.

Justin Timberlake
I loved him when he was in 'N SYNC, and I still do now. Although I must admit, I did like him better in the early days. Yala, he's much hotter now. But there was something so sweet in his early innocence which he already lost. Maybe it's Britney's fault...

JC Chasez
Perez Hilton said he's gay. So he may be, but so what? I love JC!!

Darren Hayes
I was devastated when Savage Garden came to KL and I was underaged at the time :( But nevermind la. Darren's gay and married anyway. Wish him all the best lo...

Daniel Jones
Natalie Imbruglia... She's one lucky bitch.

Marty Casey
I never watched Rock Star INXS but I downloaded the entire show after I saw Marty perform. He made me understand and love the song, 'Wish You Were Here', originally done by Pink Flyod (unlike some rock star wannabe ex-boyfriend who once said both of us are like the song. wtf?).

Daniel Wu
Need I say more? Seriously, need I fucking say more???

Nicolas Cage
Yes, old enough to be my dad but I'd still like to get laid by Nicolas *puppy eyes* Please?

Brandon Flowers
Two words: Femininishly sexy

Joey G
The only person I've managed to meet in person so far. Half-Malay and married to a Malay but I still don't care!

Chester Bennington
Supposed to meet Chester but some groupie bitch stole it from me. Or did I give it to her? I feel like I gave it to her. C***.

Bert McCracken
Who knew I'd have a thing for a smelly drug-addict?

Hugh Jackman
That face... That chest... Those muscles... That grin he always has... *swoon*

Orlando Bloom
Cutie cutey cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute!!

Somehow I know I'm able to come up with a longer list. But for some reason, I can't go further. Maybe it's the dead brain cells. Or maybe I fell out of love for some of my lou gongs. Yup, I'm actually embarassed that once upon a time, I actually like feng tau ah bengs like Nicolas Tse, Stephen Fung and (here comes the worst!) Vic Zhou from F4. Vic Zhou is not feng tau, just a sissy *trembles*

Random: Just got this in my office mailbox. OMFG. I'm so tempted to go. But I don't think I can afford it :(

P/S: Wow... Close to 5 months working at this place and I can finally blog from work. Crappy PC...

I hate Mondays

I never used to understand what 'Monday Blues' meant. Monday used to be just another day. Or another hari Isnin, or 星期一. Now I hate it like nobody's business. It's not really Monday's fault. It's just that no sane person would look forward to another five long days in the office after a nice weekend. And my weekends are very nice, mind you. That's because I have Mr. Bun around. And it's not really torturing to have a five-day week in the office either. Time flies. Seems like just yesterday that I was still rotting in the miserable corridors of UTAR. Look where I am now. On my way to corporate biatchness. So... Can I really say I hate Mondays? Yes, I do hate 'em pretty much. I wish I could just show my middle finger to everyone who pissed me off today and tell them to screw off and leave me alone. To get out of my face. And I wish I could tell Mr. Bun sometimes that I hate him. Hate him for spoiling me. Yes, he does that a lot. I'm starting to get clingy. Gosh... That's the last thing on earth that I wanna do. Must.Not.Get.Clingy. But don't stop showering me with the attention that I crave. I'm the Queen Bee, and people should worship me. What am I yammering about here?

And last weekend was the WEEKEND!! I learnt how to driveeee! Can you believe it? Yesssss... I drove. For a good half an hour. Basically just going round and round my housing area. Mr. Bun was my instructor. No mishaps happened, except for the slight physical contact between Mr. Bun's 'Little Blackie' (小黑) and a Mercedez. Not even a scratch, but we didn't dare to go past it again and quickly cabut lari. It's not really hard to drive an automatic, I just need to get used to controlling the car and learn how to pay attention to the front, sides and back. Phew... It's not that easy either. Few more lessons and then I can graduate to the real roads. Only half an hour for the first tutorial already made me tired. Mentally, mostly. So if you happen to see me on the road soon, be careful. I'm new. You'll only risk to hurt yourself if you try to instigate any fear from me while I'm driving. Stay away!

Can't wait until the next week comes. Mr. Bun is moving to a new place and I'm gonna help being his maid for a day. But sans the French maid costume though :p If my mom finds out, she's surely gonna think that her daughter's an ass 'cause the daughter hardly helps around with the housework, but now is gonna help the boyfriend clean up. My excuse theory is, I must make the boyfriend think I can make a good housewife one day and trick him into at least think of marrying me. When he starts making plans, it's all gonna be too late and he'd have no choice but too really marry me by then. Muahahahahahaha... Am I such a genius or what?Females are not only smarter and cooler than males are, we're evilly incredible too.

Enough of nonsense. Gotta clock in to meet Mr. Chow. Hope Tuesdays are more bearable.

Puzzle of the day: T_ _ _ _ _ _ M_ _ & G_ _ _ _ T_ _.
It's endearing to see how these two simple things can make him so happy.

Venus vs. Mars

Females are way better than males. Seriously. A picture can tell a thousand words. Let the following pictures explain two thousand words and you shall understand.

Mine

Mr. Bun's

Disclaimer: Mr. Bun and I didn't have an argument. I'm just trying to remind people that us girls are way cooler than you guys :p

I found it

I first saw the link to this video on Perez Hilton, but couldn't watch it in the office. Yeah, my office PC sucks. Anyway, when I tried to look for it again a few days later, I couldn't find it anymore. But I knew it was something huge 'cause a lot of people seem to be talking about it. I was curious la... Really wanted to find out what the fuck Akon did. And now I know. He fucked. Well, not really la. But close to it anyways...

Don't eat here

Seriously. You gotta believe what I'm telling you. Service's bad, and the food sucks. Mango tong yuen... What mango tong yuen? It's only available after certain hours (I couldn't catch what time the waiter said 'cause he was mumbling), and they didn't even state it on the menu! They took forever to suggest to me to cancel my steamed fishball after me complaining asking three times. The people who work at this place can't read 'cause they brought two cups for the Chinese tea we ordered, despite us writing 4. They even keyed in 2 in the receipt. So in a nutshell, this place is totally BLAH!! No food shots 'cause it all just sucks soooo bad.

P/S: Don't get fooled by this: http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/4/17/central/17355647&sec=central. Because I was. Be thankful I warned you.

Congrats

Well done, Mei Ping. You finally made it :) Hope you like Snoopy. Sorry la. I prefer Snoopy over MacDao. But at least you have the mini-version ma. Hehe...

Last Weekend

I left Mr. Bun alone for a day and went up to Fraser's Hill with my colleagues. The journey up and down the hill was dreadful and the place was dead. Alas, I had a bunch of zany people around me so it was all good. And they have fried sweet potato that taste so damn good as well :)

I didn't lose any rounds of the games :)

Fresh from the kuali!!

Not far away from home...

Check out the fengtau car!

I wish we stayed here instead

My favourite shot

Meet Mr. Bun

Introducing... Yong's Photoshop/Illustrator masterpiece. He doctored me and Mr. Bun's potrait. It's kinda cute, isn't it? I'm posting this now because we finally stepped out as an official couple in front of our friends. Not all, but just these few will do. Their satellite signals are very strong and efficient. Even my mom saw us kiss after he dropped me off home. And yes, I'm finally happy now 'cause I don't have to dream anymore :)

Threesome, anyone?

You can't have it. But you can watch.

I don't know what the fella is singing about. But I believe the concept of the video was utterly unnecessary... For any songs, for all that matter.

Hot Guy + Fugly Dudes

Watch this video. I can't help but notice that Adam Levine is waaaaaaayyy much hotter now compared to the first record. But the music sucks. Well, the song's catchy but they sound more like a disco pop band now. Look at how Adam flirts around with his eyebrow. Sexy! The only thing wrong about him in the video is the bloody bow-tie. Why can't he just wear a tie?? Anyway, they shouldn't be calling themselves Maroon 5 from now. Look at Adam's bandmates... They're all so fucking ugly. They should be renamed as 'Hot Adam Levine and the fugly dudes'.

Sawadeeka

Dear Mr. Tony Fernandes,

By now the whole of Malaysia (and most part of the world) knows how a great entrepreneur you are. Few years ago, I bet you didn't have your name in Wikipedia. And now, everyone wants to have a piece of you. While I know you're a genuinely nice man, I'd get tired of repeating the story of how I managed to build AirAsia into such a phenomenon it is today, if I were you. But of course, I'd still do it because can show off ma. But I know you weren't doing so when I had the opportunity to interview you. It's such a waste my story never made it to the non-existent "The U". It's a heartache, but I still love the fact that I had the opportunity to sit inside your old office back in KLIA, before LCCT was built. Man, the room was not an inch of what I'd expect of an office of a CEO to be like. I don't live in a mansion, but even my parent's bedroom is bigger than your office. Well, your old office at least. I wouldn't know how big your current office is. Most amazing thing was, we were just a bunch of varsity students still in our diapers, but you were willing to spend your precious time with us. How cool is that? Pretty damn cool. Can show off your guitar skills sumore...

Anyhoo, I'd like to thank you for being such a smart and generous businessman. (I'll get Kelly Clarkson to sing in the background for this part, but I don't have the budget, so let's forget about that.) Because of you, I can now fly to Hong Kong and Bangkok. It means a great deal to me, because I've always loved to travel despite not having the moolah to do so. And I'm not blessed with long legs so I can't be a stewardess. I'm especially happy since I can go to Bangkok. It's not extremely far from Kuala Lumpur, but it's not too easy for me to just fork out the money to go there anytime. But thanks to the free plane tickets that your company gives out, I'm soooooooo going there next year. Can you please continue giving them out so that I can go to Vietnam next? I have a few places which I'd like to visit before I'm wiped out from the face of this planet. Bangkok and Hanoi are two places from the list. Maybe you could explore flying direct to Italy in the not too distant future. I'd like to propose to Gianluigi Buffon. I'll invite you our wedding, I promise!

P/S: Tokyo and Bahamas sound kinda nice too ;)

I ran

And I fell. Hard. Now I gotta learn how to stand up and clear up the bloody mess I made. Gotta take it slow and steady from now. Learning what humility really means...

Kewl Kweller

Sometimes people just need a dose of silly, but good music. And I found Ben Kweller. His videos are kinda cheap-looking. But who cares? Good music is what counts. After all, he's got the balls to stuff a tampon up his nostrils to stop his nose from bleeding while performing on stage. Even Tommy Lee couldn't have done that.

Creepy crawlies

Or I would rather call them eight-legged freaks. I'm not much of a spider-phobe person. But now I understand why Fear Factor contestants become such wimps and pussies when they're surrounded by spiders. I had more than a few dozen above my head just now. Few dozen ah... Not only a few okay? Where? At the bus stop in front of Serdang KTM station. There's a whole army of them on the roof. I'm still having goosebumps. It's that freaking disgusting. They don't look like those domestic, small, black-coloured ones. They're a bit bigger, kinda like hazelnut-sized, brown-coloured spideys. I know la... Hazelnuts come in all sizes and shapes, but just try to think of the more generic ones can? Some more got holes on their backs. Geli like fuck! Argh!! I can't go on blogging about them spiders. I'm totally grossed out.

5 Reasons Why I Blog

Aduhsssss... Kena tag liao. So have to state the 5 least important reasons of why I blog. Here goes...

1) To whine
Who doesn't?

2) To bitch
I do it all the time in real life. So what makes you think I won't do it in cyberspace?

3) To share
Sometimes about certain cool stuff that comes my job and lately, about Mr. Bun...

4) To fully utilize my Streamyx account
Abuthen... You think so syok to pay RM88 every month ah?

5) To prove the idiocracy of some "minister"
I blog, I'm a female, I'm under 25... But I'm employed. And loving it.

Next up! I tag...
1) Deb
2) Darshini
3) Jasmine
4) Danny
5) Amy

Rock Star Fetish

Are you kidding me? This is what I've missed? @%^$^#$^$@^$^#^%@ Chester is sooooo sexy *drools* The whole leather get-up... Yummy! So shagalicious! Why am I not working for Le Meridien KL ah? I could've sneaked into his room and seduced him. Ok fine. I'll dream about it tonight. At least that's the only thing I can do at the moment. Hmph!!

Doesn't smell too good

I thought it was supposed to be a damn good movie. It actually was... For one-third of it!! The ending really puts me off. I mean, if the script writer is suffering from a writer's block, then take some time off to get inspired. Don't give us movie-goers some shitty piece of work. Thank God I watched it with Mr. Bun. Less pissed off from all the cuddling.

On another note, I found this really funny video from Perez's webbie. Poor kid. He's gonna grow up being laughed at for this. Or become a really famous gay instead.

Got me twisted

Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn. That is the perfect way to illustrate my feelings right now. It's difficult to describe it, but I guess I'm like a little girl lost in a candy store. Gasping at how amazing and beautiful the world is... Then I stopped at one big and sexy candy, which I wanted real badly. The more I look at it and think of how yummy it would taste, the more badly I want to have it. And before I knew it, someone came and snatched it away from me. Yup, that's kinda like how I'm feeling at the moment. Today is supposed to be perfect. A day off from work to go see Chester Bennington, and come home feeling like I'm in heaven. But noooooooo... All this has to be taken away from me. I'm filled with an unmeasureable amount of rage, hatred and jealousy. I mean, if it were some random people who got the chance to meet Chester up close, I wouldn't mind. But she was so selfish to keep it to herself. Worst, she wasn't even a fan of Chester in the first place!! How bithcy can she get? Saying sorry doesn't get you anywhere, my dear. Can you shove your anger down your throat if I got to snuggle up to Mike Shinoda and you couldn't? I'm so turned off by the whole situation that I can't even stay for the event. Left the miserable place and had lunch with Mr. Bun. He made me smile for a while. But when I got off at the train station and was left alone again, a shield of self-pityness wrapped tightly around me once again. I was clinging on to whatever strength I had to stop myself from breaking down. Now I know how bad it feels to not get what I want. Want so badly... Whatever la. I'm gonna need at least a few days to get this out of my system. At least I get to know another person's real face today. I still love Chester, even more now that he's shown me who's worth being my friend, and who's not. Now I'm gonna have to cross my fingers and pray everyday that Linkin Park's having a concert in Malaysia again.

Spa Virgin No More

Seems like I got plenty of cherries to pop eh? For those who have been following my blog since my Friendster days... You might remember my entry about losing my concert virginity. Yesterday, I went to a spa and well, lost my spa virginity lah! (Btw, why do I have to make everything sound so lewd?) Got off from work yesterday and I went upstairs for a treatment. I don't give my body enough sleep, so I might as well be nice to myself and indulge in a treatment once in a while (Fyi, it's not entirely my fault that I don't get enough sleep every night. It's Mr. Bun's fault). I must say... The spa was pretty impressive at first look. Not as if it was my first time going there, but last week it was just to ask for pricing and stuff like that. The staff were incredibly professional. Let me paint the picture for you. Usually when you step into any retail outlets or anywhere that has to do with monetary transactions, you'll either be greeted with so much warmth and enthusiasm OR people don't give a fcuk about your existence, am I right? Even for those places that gives so-called professional service, the staff are pretty fake, aren't they? They only greet you once they've clocked in and don't give a shit while they're on lunch break, or toilet break, or whatever. At the spa, I was really surprised that the staff who were walking in and out literally stopped in their tracks to greet me. So polite leh. I mean, there was this moment when I was sitting at the waiting area and was staring into space, admiring the setting and suddenly, a staff stopped in front of me while she was passing through and greeted me. Terkejut I...

Anyhoo, I would love to share my experience in detail but umm... I don't want my blog to be X-rated. Don't get me wrong, there are no "special" services offered (I hope!), but it's just unavoidable to feel sensual in a spa because I was literally stripped down. And there was a pair of stranger's hand touching me all over. I tell you... If a delicious hunk was attending to me, I'd be cheating on Mr. Bun big time! Serious! Without any hesitation. Now I see why Yong's friend got hard while he had a spa treatment. LMAO!! Thankfully I had a very nice lady to attend to me la. So I wasn't exposed to the danger of becoming a slut or pervert or anything like that. And who doesn't get naked in a spa? You tell me la. Best part is always the massage. 'Cause I luurrvvveeee massages. Apart from that, I really liked the milk bath. I was soaking in the milky water and it feels so damn good. Feeling rather XXX in the tub too *wink wink*

Ok lah... Enough with my hamsap nonsense. I think I owe you people an introduction of Mr. Bun. He's my beloved sweet boyfriend. Why do I bestow such a name upon him? It's not much of a big thing really. The name just came accidentally from Jasmine and now it's stuck between me and Deb. Even he doesn't know he's called Mr. Bun. He only knows about "Maybank". And if he reads this, he'll know. And I'm ready for questions. Oh... I don't get to sleep 'cause we're on the phone every night for hours. What else were you thinking of? :p

P/S: Here's the spa I was talking about: http://www.jojoba.com.my/jojobaspa_home.asp

Three little words

Make a big difference for two persons in a relationship. They turned my life upside down and suddenly he's the only person wandering this complicated maze in my head. I hope he doesn't get lost in there. When he said them, my heart was pumping so fast that you'd think I was high on drugs. No, I wasn't. It was something else. Blood wasn't just flowing through my veins... You know Niagra Falls? That was the rush I felt. Now how do I bring myself back to reality and just relax? I don't wanna think too much and over-analyze. It's nice to know there's someone who cares and I just wanna be loved.

Taman Linkin

I better work out

I better get high

Gotta slut it out

I'm telling you why

Bennington is coming to town...

Woohoo!! Can April 4th come faster????

Cash Tornado

Wish this entry was about me picking up shitloads of cash... But it's all about the work, baby!! Not that I was really working for this though. Went downstairs to take some photos, met some people, gave out some name cards, bla bla bla... Even got a free copy of MWW. What I really wanted was the free movie pass. But Lil' John didn't give it to me :( One more thing, Sham looks like Vin Diesel. He even sounds like Diesel -.-"

Sweetness

Ashley's no longer a single lonely bitch :)

All smiles

There's not much to be said about today's convocation ceremony. Just to note that I was very excited, to the point where adrenaline took over and I actually forgot that I was sick. And I was smiling and laughing so much... But it didn't bother me 'cause I was truly happy. The feelings came true from the inside. Unlike the short time I spent taking the studio photos, and felt so awkward the whole time. My favourite shot of the day (which excludes the need to post up the other one hundred million photos that I took) is definitely this one...

My body does have good memory. I felt so beaten down after getting on to the car. My shirt was soaked in sweat after I took off my jacket and gown. Hair was fucked after taking off the mortar board. No worries... I took my meds and will be off to bed soon. I'm working tomorrow anyway. Anyone shopping for holidays at MATTA Fair tomorrow? Come pay me a visit ;) Oh... I'm off to the second convocation session as well. Gotta share my friends' great day. And I don't care if the bosses don't like it. Die die I also must go!!

Lovely flowers I've received today

Ugly pic

Or should I say ugly pig? I hateeeeeeeee this photo!! My face is puffy and my hair's like shit. I've had three new hairstyles and my hair colour's not even that anymore since this photo was taken. How frustrating can it get? Not to mention the fact that UTAR's gonna project this photo to few thousand people this Saturday, and have already distributed the e-album to a few thousand others. Geraaaammmmm!!!

I should be so thankful

Yes, I should count my blessings indeed. It's just another day for most people out there, but today I discovered three very important things:

1) I have colleagues who are concerned about my well being, even though we've only known each other for less than three months

2) I have friends who love me, and I love them to bits too

3) I have a guy who shares a mutual feeling as I do for him, and wants me more than I want him. Don't get me wrong. I'm just overwhelmed by the attention he's giving me. I've never had guys treating me this way

I'm exploding with all sorts of emotions. Feeling everything at the same time. Love, fear, emptiness, gratitude, fulfilment, hesitation, bla bla bla. Am I asking too much? Thinking too much? Abby and Deb has advised me not to. I know I shouldn't. I even told him not to do the same. So why am I whining? Dunno la. I'm just too complicated for myself to handle.

Would you be my girlfriend?

Chapter 1

That was his question. It came as such a surprise. She never expected him to say those words so soon. Her hands were shaking so badly that she was sipping quickly on her green tea as if it were the elixir of life. Close to the point of gulping. She could only tell him that they shouldn't move too fast. He agreed. But he said he's gonna try harder. "At least I still have the chance." And they continued to talk while invisible pink cotton candy hearts were floating in the air and Cupid was watching closely. The air-conditioning in the cinema nearly froze her to death. She was wishing so badly that she could snuggle up to him for some warmth. But she was too stubborn. And he was too afraid to wrap his arms around her. Maybe afraid that he'll scare her. It was hard enough for him to confess his feelings. She knew about it, and she was feeling the exact same way too but she never knew he was such a shy guy after all. He walked her to the train station after they had dinner. She is such a sushi lover. But she couldn't manage to eat as much as she usually could. Her mind was not concentrated on hunger. Her body was flushed with heat. Primal heat. Passionate blood is once again flowing through her cold veins. She felt coy when their skin brushed against each other. "Why didn't he just grab my hand and hold on tightly to it?" She was screaming inside. All he could manage was to touch her lightly on her shoulder and even more lightly near her hips. Such a shy guy. No one could ever tell. But the connection is there. The feelings are strong. More importantly, the feelings are mutual. How did it happen? No one could ever know. Sparks fly, and it is a beautiful thing for these two young lovers to be able to start a relationship together. It was just the first date. There are more to come. And deep in her heart, she prays everyday for a man she can truly love and love her in return.

Let's Ride

I fucking love Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider. He is so damn sexy. Balding or not in real life... I DON'T care. He's soooooo delicious. I watched it at BTS with Eric and Yong this evening. We missed 45 minutes of the show because of some assholes and bought tickets to watch it again on the midnight show. And I loved every second of it!! Poor guys had to bear with me squeal in delight when Nic Cage went topless for a scene *drools*

I HATE ALICE KIM

Old ladies

Jasmine the rebel is back! So we us girls met up at TGIF. We were loud, as usual. Especially when we were joined by Simpson, Kuan Mei and Angel. Kuan Mei's hubby was quiet 'cause he was sick and Angel's boyfriend as well, because we didn't know him. Everyone was really chatty, and we'd find that we didn't know which conversation to pay attention to, because so many people were talking at the same time. Anyway, company was awesome, and the food was great. I'm really glad to catch up with some friends after so long of not seeing them. And it's only been a couple of months! Self-proclaimed Miss World did a good job of introducing the Jack Daniel's Chicken to me. The sauce is just heavenly!! No pics though. No one seem to have brought a camera. I didn't 'cause I had a smaller handbag today.

After Simpson, Kuan Mei+hubby left, we continued with our conversations. We sounded like a bunch of old b****es. (Censor done in honour of CCB. CCB = Chris' Censorship Board. But it sounds like another different thing that is banned under the censorship board, doesn't it? :p) It's funny how Jasmine mentioned that the rest of us sounded so mature. Deb pointed out that all we used to talk about was gossips about the people around us. I think it's more about whining about how awful our alma mater was, really. But now every ingredient of our conversations are heavily seasoned with talks of work, work and more work! I guess it's just that we've moved on to another level in our lives. The one where we are still learning how to be an adult. Nonetheless, I still suck at it. But I'm learning la.

Deb and Miss World are such pathetic liars. I'm gonna ignore that anyway. I'll miss my deb deb ;( I'll have less one friend to listen to my whinings now. At least for 3 years until she's back. Soon I can only whine to her and wait longer for a reply.

P/S: Deb, I wish you all the best. I know it sounds clichéd, but I really mean it. You've made a choice and it might not necessarily have a right or wrong attached to it, but you've chosen a path. So make the best out of it and give it your all. Life is too short for what ifs. But yet too long for a monotonous life. So let go of whatever insecurities, bla bla bla and enjoy yourself, ok?
